Hi Bill Lane,I apologize for the long delay, due to circumstances I have not had the
opportunity to reply till now.You are right Zech.14:16-20 does refer to Israel’s rule during the
Millennium. As I understand it, God’s plan for Israel is this, from the
beginning of the Millennium onwards, Israel shall be the World
Government. Deut.28:1,9,10,13, Ps.18:43-44, Is. 2:2-4, Rom.4:13The Day of The Lord starts when Jesus comes to fetch His people as a
thief and ends after the thousand years when the present heavens and
earth are burnt up. This is the seventh day. The present heavens and
earth will not be burnt up at His second coming. After the Millennium God will transfer all Israel and the other people
left on earth to the New Earth, how I do not know, but because He is
God, He is able. Perhaps God will transfer everybody to a place of
safety at the right time.According to Luke 3:22-38 there were about 76 generations from Adam to
Christ. From Christ till now there have been approximately 100
generations and during the Millennium there will be approximately 50
generations. This in total only comes to 226 generations. Even if there
are only going to be a 1000 generations in total, by the end of the
Millennium there would have only been about 226 generations. Deuteronomy
7:9 mentions a thousand generations. Psalm 145:1- 13 speaks about God’s
everlasting kingdom and generation to generation. See also Exodus 20:6
and Deut.5:10Revelation 21:3 says that God will change His habitation to the New
Earth and will dwell with men and they will be His people and He will be
their God. There is a difference between sons and people. In Revelations
21:7 we see that the overcomers will inherit everything and that He will
be their God and they will be His sons
More Scripture verses referring to sons of God. Jn.1:12, Rom.8:14,
Gal.4:7, Phil. 2:15, 1Jn. 3:1.It is good to note that all through scripture we read of Israel as being
God’s people and He will be their God.
More verses concerning Israel Gen. 17:4-14, Deut.7:6, Eze.11:17-20,
Heb.8:10-12 and final destination The New Earth, Is. 66:22Any Israelite accepting Jesus as Messiah and Saviour before it is too
late, makes the transition into the Church which is a higher calling in
Christ, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or
uncircumcised, but Christ is all and in all. Col. 3:9-11This is how I understand God’s plan for the New Earth.
God Bless
