More and more, we see the so-called democratic countries moving towards the police/nanny state. The Orwellian nightmare is here to stay. We can do precious little about it- we just have to lump it!
We, who, are from the Third World country saw the erosion of personal freedom in our home countries, which was put down to fighting the separatist/freedom fighters. Now we see another guise being employed, in the name of terrorism we are being slowly herded towards the police state.
I remember a New Zealand preacher, by the name of Barry Smith, used to say that if we thought we were living in a democratic country, we are kidding ourselves! At that time, in the early ‘90s, he sounded so pessimistic, yet we see the fulfilment of it now. He used to say that like breaking a horse, we are being flicked and flicked until we submits to authority. We are truly in the End Times.
