"Frank Molver's "Re:41 years, June 2008""

The Six Day War in Israel ended on June 10, 1967. On Pentecost, June 14, 1967, an estimated 200,000 Israelis gathered at the Western Wall of the Temple Mount to celebrate their victory in the Six Day War.

In 2008, the Feast of Pentecost begins at sundown on Sunday, June 8 and ends at sundown on Monday, June 9. This Pentecost date still falls within the 41st year since the Six Day War ended (June 10, 1967) and since the Pentecost celebration took place at the Temple Mount (June 14, 1967). It might just be that the end date from which the 40+ years are counted is the 1967 Pentecost. Pentecost is one of the three major feasts of Israel. The 1967 Pentecost was a time of great rejoicing for the Israelis. Could it be that the 2008 Pentecost will be a time of still greater rejoicing for the Church? David, Israel’s storied King, was born and died on Pentecost. Enoch, a gentile and type of the Church, was born and RAPTURED on Pentecost. The Church was born on Pentecost and just may, like Enoch, be RAPTURED on Pentecost. Pentecost pictures resurrection harvest. And it is the last Feast before the 41st year ends. Even so, come Lord Jesus!
