Yes,  I agree with you . Praying is like communication with GOD . I  look at it as a telephone.  The phone has two parts...  one... is the transmiter  and the  second is the receiver.   Whenever  I  speak on the phone, I  have to listen to the receiver of what will the other person has to say to me.

 

When   I  pray GOD , I  am using the transmiter , after what  I said ... then... I  have to listen to what  GOD   says in the receiver.  The christian transmiter is the  PRAYER

the christian receiver is  the  BIBLE ( God speaks to us ).

 

A  prayer should be considered as  a  dialogue  and not only a monoloque .

YES    God hears the prayers and He waits for the right time to answer .
