I found Renee Clark’s post “Forty years and Jerusalem” quite intriguing, especially this part that states:
 

1. Jerusalem's Countdown started in June (6th/7th) 1967 miraculously by God Himself.
2. Forty years were fulfilled last June (6th/7th) 2007.
3. Forty-ONE years will be this June (6th/7th) 2008.

 
considering that June 05, 2008 is Ascension Thursday.
