"WEIRD event!!!"

Hi, precious Doves!!!

I woke up this morning around 3:30 a.m. singing a Baptist hymn that I hadn’t sung in about 40 years, for some unknown reason!!!  I was still singing it (not singing really, but dah-dah-dah’ing J) on my way to work.  Since I was raised Southern Baptist, I called my Mom and dah-dah-dah’d it to her, and she recognized it immediately, but couldn’t remember the title or the words either.  She called her GF who sings in their church choir, and she said it’s “We Gather Together”, and here is the tune and the words:

I’m not sure what the Lord was trying to tell me exactly, but I know it was something.  I especially like the next-to-last line of the song:

Let Thy congregation escape tribulation;

How very odd!  What’s even odder is that we have been discussing the Restrainer from 2 Thessalonians 2, and the first verse reads:

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him

The first verse of “We Gather Together” is:

We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing;

Love from your sister in Yahshua!
