"Which generation?"
The generation Mathew 24 is talking about is
Israel's generation of 70 years. From 1948 to 2018 is 70 years, her complete
generation.
I see so many counting from the 6th day war to get to
the time when Jesus would return, but we should be counting from when Israel
became a nation. The 6 day war could never have happened if Israel had
never become a nation. The 6 day war is not what was prophesied,
and proclaimed to be, but the fact that Israel was to become nation again
was, with the return of the Jews, and afterward the return of the Messiah.
The Jews returned to Israel after she became a nation
again, and because she became a nation again. The return of the Messiah
to Israel will happen in her 70th generation year. That will be 2018 in
the fall of that year on Rosh Hashanah, the first day of Tishre. That is
the generation that Matthew 24:32-34 is speaking about. It is not talking
about anything other than Israel's generation of 70 years, and all the
things to happen in between.
Matthew 24;32-24 now learn a parable of the fig tree;
When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer
is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that
it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall
not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Her branch was tender between the signing of the Balfour
Declaration in 1917, allowing the Jews to start returning to settle in
the land in 1918. From then to 1948 she was in her 30 year adolescent stage
and was a tender branch putting forth leaves, getting ready for summer.
Summer was nigh, meaning when she would become a nation in 1948. This is
her summer as an adult nation. This was to signal that her generation was
beginning, and we who are alive would see all these things, and should
start paying attention as it is near, even at the doors, which is plural
meaning more than one door, thereby having more than one fulfillment.
What is even at the doors. (1) The catching away of the
wise virgins. (2) The tribulation period of seven years. (3) The return
of the Messiah and all the saints from heaven to stay in the fall of the
70th year of 2018, ending her generation. After this the Messiah will take
over as reigning King of kings.
When this happens on Rosh Hashanah, the first day of
Tishre, this will begin a ten day period called, Days of Awe, Days of Returning,
Days of Weeping and Repenting. Then on the 10th day, they will be atoned
for by our King of kings, Jesus Christ, "And so, all Israel shall be saved."
This 10th day will also be the beginning of a Jubilee
year. Jubilee year will be the last year in this present 50 year
cycle, ending this dispensation, this age. This will end man's reign
and merge with earth year 6000 leaving exactly 1000 years for Messiah to
reign here on this earth. Jubilee year will be 2019, and 2020 will be the
first year of the millennium.
Jubilee also prophesies rest, restoration, returning
to families, lands, and possessions. This could never happen until Jesus
returns and fulfills this prophesy.
God's plan is very simple, yet man tends to complicate
it. It is basic and should have been taught in the churches all down through
the years.
