I agree entirely on the over-medication of America, Shelva. On the subject of the flu shot, which does not always work well, as you
have stated: Babies can get the flu shot without mercury in it. Any
of us can get the shot without mercury if our doctors will order it.
Here at our clinic, I would have to go to the pediatric division to get
a flu shot without mercury, and my pcp wrote a prescription for me to
do just that. However, both my husband and I opted not to have the
shot this year, even without mercury. The flu shot this year proved
relatively useless, as the majority of flu strains covered did not show
up in the winter of 2007-08.We rely on building our immune systems, using garlic and other natural
antibiotics. I use KWAI, a non-stinky garlic which one can buy at the
pharmacy, and Irv uses a more potent form from the health store. But I
know my KWAI can fight the early symptoms of infection, so I feel it's
a good choice, and easy to find. The doctors keep fighting to put Irv on statins, and I keep fighting to
get him off. Mostly I win, but it's back and forth.
I can't take them myself, without severe side effects, so I live with
my cholesterol and my clear arteries.Mariel
