POETRY'S FINEST HOURWrite ole pen for life to hope
And bring me what I need
The words that join hand in hand
To reach my heart indeedComes from a place I cannot see
But yet I know is real
Blown to my mind by winds
From God's own mouth I feelDeeper, deeper, no place that hides
From these words that cover me
I can't contain these lines I read
How lovely a poem can beFlowing down a wooden cross
Each word is crimson read
Written before the start of time
As true as the Father saidAnd in this poem now written
For words there was no loss
'Twas poetry's finest hour
Love's story written on a cross
