"The Perseverance Test"

Hebrews 10:36 tells us that " you need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised "

The story in the OT about Joseph is just amazing. The total time that Joseph spent as a slave plus the time he spent in prison totaled about 13 years. Imagine spending all those years wondering why God was allowing you to suffer unjustly. If what happened to Joseph happened to you today, how would you feel towards God ? Would it make you bitter ? Would you get angry or lose hope ? Or would you persevere in trusting God through the long trial of suffering ?

Many Christians today are under similar circumstances, and many simply give up the fight and give up on God. Others try to hurry God's timetable or deliver themselves from their adversity. But in doing so, only make matters worse. It is always a mistake to try to rush the work God is doing in our lives

During our times of trials and sufferings, God is at work. He is building up your character and stripping away your pride. God is preparing you for a new divine Calling. And he is teaching you to persevere thru hardship

" Perseverance is the key to every great accomplishment because nothing of lasting value has ever been achieved without adversity "

When we persevere through adversity and suffering,  we win the approval of our Lord Jesus Christ, who told the suffering church at Ephesus, ' I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance....you have persevered and have endured hardships for my name , and have not grown weary "

Perseverance is a refusal to quit. We need to remember that perseverance is not a matter of forcing doors to open. Its standing in front of the doors as long as it takes before God chooses to open them

When God leads us through adversity, we need to endure it with patience and obedience. We should never take a shortcut through the Valley of Adversity. Because it always ends up being the long way around. God will always reward you for your patience. And He will always bless your obedience

keep trusting in Jesus Christ, He will always be with you. He promised you that He will never leave you !!!

remember : Jesus loves you
