1 John 4.1 tells us that we are to test the spirits to see if they are of God because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  1 John 4.2:3 tells us how to test a spirit.  We are to ask the spirit to confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.  If the spirit speaking through a person will not confesses that Jesus Christ is come in flesh is of God, then this spirit is not of God but is a spirit of the antichrist.

Wouldn’t if be great if a true Christian pastor tested the spirits speaking through Ophra while she was promoting the New Age philosophy on her television show!
