"Take Heed That No Man Deceive You"

Hi John & All:

The Lord spoke to my heart just prior to Christmas, and over the past month, concerning the days ahead. As I mentioned in a previous letter, He told me there would be constant increases in world political turmoil from here on out. But He also mentioned something else to me about a week ago, which I did keep to myself -- until I heard a sister from India repeat the very same thing in a radio interview she gave a couple of days after the Lord spoke to me.

From here on out there will be an exponential increase in lying tongues.

There will not only be an exponential increase in the willingness to lie and to deceive, but those deceivers who have given themselves over to this way will behave more and more blatantly. This will of course be predominantly true in world governments - for which not a single nation will be exempt - but it would also hold true in personal relationships. Close family members and relatives will tell bold lies to your face - and mock you behind your back. Your so-called friends and business associates will do the same.

Now of course I am not referencing truly committed born-again believers, but rather those who are not part of the Body of Christ, and who show no interest in the things of God. In fact they openly mock God and His Word.

Let's take a journey back to the Mount of Olives, at the moment the disciples are asking Jesus for the sign of His coming, and of the end of the age. What are the first seven words out of the mouth of our Lord -- before he even goes into the greater specifics?

"Take heed that no man deceive you ..."

- Matthew 24: 4

"Take heed lest any man deceive you ..."

- Mark 13: 5

"Take heed that ye be not deceived ..."

- Luke 21: 8

This is not an attempt to offend anyone, but from the beginning of his term in office President Bush has generally spoken about his faith in Christ. Then he clouded this over by creating the roadmap which is designed to deprive the Jewish people of not only the Temple Mount but the City of Jerusalem as well. In recent months Condoleeza Rice has jumped on the Jesus Bandwagon too, proclaiming her Christianity and knowledge of the Bible ... while also pressing God's chosen people to surrender not only half of their God-given land, but the Temple Mount and Jerusalem.

"Take heed that no man deceive you ..."

Not only this ... but President Bush has openly embraced the false moon-god of Allah through his unending espousals of the islamic religion. Furthermore, he has gone on public television and openly declared that both the Christians and Muslims worship the same God. He has also publicly stated there are in fact many ways to God -- in contrast to the Bible which says there is no other name under the heavens (but the Name of Jesus), by which we can be saved.

"Take heed that no man deceive you ..."

In a further display of the world's increased speed down the super highway of lies and deceipt in an open attack on God and His Word, I present to you one Stephen Sizer, the Vicar and Pastor of Christ Church (of England), located in Virginia Water, United Kingdom. He was also giving a 40 minute interview on radio that I listened to the other day. The interview was being conducted by an individual who is post-tribulationist ... similar to the views of Sizer.

Keep in mind this is not some little village church pastor, but an individual who has held some rather influential postions in his life, including an involvement at one time with Campus Crusade for Christ, and was involved in assessing the merits of the graduate students of such notable institutions as Tyndale Bible College. He has also travelled throughout the middle east, and given lectures at eight universities and some governmental agencies within Iran. He has also met with the family of the Ayatollah Khomeni.

Here are some of his very outspoken views (please try to avoid the urge to put your fist through the computer monitor while reading them):

He wrote a book entitled: "Christian Zionism: Roadmap to Armaggedon."

He claims that Israel bears sole responsibility for the 2006 war in Lebanon.

He says Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a nice fellow and was just quoted out of context concerning his statement that Israel should be blown off the map.

He says there should not be a nation of Israel in the Middle East, but instead a Unitary State of Palestine ... or some type of Confederation.

He says that Zionism (the belief that God gave the land to the Jewish people in a covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), is a from of Racism as well as an Apartheid Structure. He compares the very idea of God making covenant with the Jewish people as discrimination against the Arabs, and is akin to the way blacks suffered discrimination in the 19th and 20th centuries.

He claims that when the Church shows support for the nation of Israel they are commiting blasphemy and are heretics.

He seems to equate support of Israel with the wickedness of abortion.

He says that anyone who supports Israel automatically hates the Arabs.

He says that the idea of a continuing relationship between God, the Jews, and the land (which he refers to only as Palestine), is utter nonsense. He says that the Jewish claim to the land is no longer relevant because they committed acts of disobedience in past generations. He claims the land of Palestine (in his words) is now open-season for all the nations of the world.

He says there is absolutely no relationship to the Jewish people coming back into their own land and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He says this is a "novelty theology" and there is nothing within the New Testament that supports it. He further states that you cannot just randomly apply a few adhoc scripture verses from the Old Testament about the Jewish people coming back into the land of Palestine (again his word), and have it mean anything credible.

He says that he would never use the Bible to justify the nation of Israel today, but rather that we must go by international law to support their existence, and not some obscure verses out of the Old Testament.

"Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my  name, saying,
I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

- Matthew 24: 4-5

The key to this scripture is not only shall there be those who claim to be Christ Himself, but I believe it also references the myriads of people falsely speaking of having a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ ... and deceiving many with their antichrist doctrines.

See ya in the air,

Eric
