"Replies regarding my posts on Dr. Eby"

I will state a few things and then leave this topic, which will likely be closed. However, as I was addressed today, I would like to respond. My entire purpose in speaking about this topic was to try and open a few eyes, to try and get people to start thinking in a manner that is not the cherished viewpoint of the "traditions of men". If we can put aside preconceived notions and discuss things with open minds, then we can learn. We can all learn when we build upon the firm foundation of God's Word, and then determine how dreams, visions, prophecies and miracles line up in accordance with His Word as our only measuring stick.

Rene,

Your post is so overpowering with accusation, hatred, and contempt toward me that I barely know what to say to you.....  So perhaps it would be best if I just bless those who would curse me and leave it at that (Luke 6:28).

Frank,

To my knowledge, I did not address your dream or vision.  What I did say, and which I hope all will hear, is that we err and are on a slippery slope if we prop up for TRUTH what others have experienced in the way of dreams or visions. The only TRUE TEST of TRUTH is the written Word of God.

Carl,

If I left the impression that God doesn't work in the supernatural today, then let me be the first to correct that. I can point to many miracles in my own life. I KNOW God works in the supernatural. But I also know that satan does as well, and our Sovereign God allows it.  The quickest and easiest test then is to line up whatever it is with the Word of God.   If the Word of God says the person prophesied falsely because he spoke it presumptuously (i.e., from his own mind) then I believe that (Deut. 18:22).

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

To those who have written me privately in agreement, Thank you. Your words mean more than you can know.

Blessings to all,

Ellen Gonzalez
