I listen to Dr. John MacArthur all the time on WDCX Buffalo. I learned that he teaches lordship aspect of faith, and that accepting Jesus as Lord is crucial for salvation, which is rare nowadays.
 
I know we radical Christians (?) tend to focus on obedience and walking in God's ways that sometimes we forget to be loving. :) I'm sure Dr. MacArthur is a loving person. It's just that his messages are uncompromising that maybe people feel the rigidness. I love listening to his sermons.
