"TOES and mini TOES (Daniel 2)"

Hi John and Doves.

The declaration of independence by Kosovo reinforces my previous writings
about the dissolution of the 4th Kingdom, hence this posting.

God Bless.

TOES, and more mini TOES

NKJV - Daniel 2:28  “But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar  what will be in the latter days.  Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:  v. 32  This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, v. 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.  v.40 And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. v.41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.  v.42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. v.43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men;  but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

The dissolution and disintegration of the once mighty Roman 4th Kingdom continues apace with Kosovo’s declaration of independence from Serbia.    In an article titled “Another day – another country”, Tim Hames comments in “The Times” that the map of Europe has altered yet again – “twice in less than two years” with the separation of Yugoslavian provinces Montenegro, and Kosovo (which was the 7th to do so).

He also comments about the move over the last 50 years from “macro-Europe to micro-Europe” and says “the E.U. is, in many respects, a rather tragic institution”.   The original vision of a macro-Europe to offset the communist bloc made sense, but now “the model appears desperately outdated”.

According to Biblical prophecy, the Century long upheaval in Europe was predicted in the Metallic Man statue vision given to Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2) and the 4 Beasts vision given to the prophet Daniel (chapter 7).

From the golden (Lion) Babylonian summit, down through the silver (Bear) age of Media-Persia and the bronze (Leopard) Macedon/Grecian Empires, into the iron legs (4th dreadful and terrible beast) of the Roman Empire (the fourth kingdom), and the iron/clay feet and toes of the subsequent European Colonial Empires; (Spain, Britain, France, Germany, Austro-Hungarian, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, etc); which would “devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces” (Daniel 7:7,19,23) the Bible has predicted the fourth kingdom’s eventual disintegration into many national components.

At the end of the 1st World War, the “toe nations” and “horns” (Daniel 7:7,20,24) of the once mighty Roman 4th Kingdom formed themselves into an alliance (hidden within a broader organisation) called the League of Nations).  The Nations of Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy Greece and Yugoslavia were all “founding nations” of the League of Nations formed in 1920.  It was following this alliance that the “little horn” Germany rose briefly to pre-eminence. With the destruction of the 3rd Reich, in 1945 together with its vision of a greater empire; the disintegration of the “toe” and “horn” stage of the Roman Kingdom began to increase in pace.

Since that time, there has been a continuous dissolution of all the old European Empires that ruled their own particular “piece of the World” with various national bodies seeking independence from their Colonial masters.   Today we find more than 140 individual Nations represented.   Tim Hames points out that there are now “50 or more states in the European continent” however, not all belong to the E.U., which exhibits the last vestiges of the Roman Kingdom and presently stands at 27 member states.

Daniel 7:26 states of the last representative of the 4th Beast Kingdom, (the “little horn”) - “But the judgement shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.”  Daniel 7:11b ...I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame...”  This was accomplished in 1945 with the destruction of the “little horn”.

There is no indication in scripture that this Roman 4th Kingdom has a role as empire or kingdom in the future.  There is no mention of the 4th “dreadful and terrible” Kingdom in the book of Revelation. Daniel’s words are proving to be true - but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

Instead, we see the revival of a composite Beast Kingdom which arises out of the sea, together with its False Prophet Messiah rising out of the land, encompassing an amalgamation of the three beasts seen by Daniel in 7:3-6 (Babylon, Media/Persia and Macedon/Greece Kingdoms) and enlarged upon by John in Revelation 13:2 and following.

As the Roman 4th Kingdom in Europe continues to disintegrate into mini states, the Islamic occupiers of the three older Kingdoms named above continue to exert their growing influence in World affairs.
Daniel 7:12 “As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time...”

The passage of history is running true to the prophetic visions given to the prophet Daniel.
