Hello Doves,

I don’t often write an “appeal” letter like this, but I really wanted to share something with you that I think is both important and exciting.

There is a new Jesus movie being developed that will be word-for-word the gospel of John in the New International Version of the Bible. And you know what is so great? They are doing it as a ministry and not a commercial movie. Their vision is to dub the film into all the languages of the world and put it in the hands of missionaries and ministries all across the globe. I’ve been following this ministry for awhile now and I can vouch for their hearts, and I just know this movie is going to change a lot of lives.

But they need all of us to come together and support them as one body of Christ. It’s a real grass roots effort and they are accepting donations of any small or large amount. Please take a look and maybe even give just five or ten dollars. I know that doesn’t seem like it will help much but if we all join together, then it counts for a lot.

If you’re familiar with Bruce Marchiano - the actor who played Jesus in The Gospel According to Matthew - this new film is his vision. Since filming Matthew, he turned his life over to ministry, writing and speaking all over the world, and now he has this vision to reach the nations with this new film. And instead of looking to “Hollywood” (who might compromise the integrity of the film), he’s looking to us as believers to help make it happen. I think it’s going to bring millions of folks into the kingdom of God in these last days.
