Hi Shelva and Doves,

This brought me out of lurking mode.  Mandatory flu shots are a scary
thing.

My brother has three children.  The oldest took the chicken pox
vaccination as did the youngest.  For some reason his middle boy did
not.  Both children that took the vaccination now have
Stephen Johnson Syndrome.  The Doctors said it would never happen
twice in the same family. It did happen.  From what they could tell it
was directly related to the chicken pox vaccine.  At this point the
middle child is exempt from taking the vaccination.   Somehow they
managed to get the middle child exempt from taking this vaccine.  I
don't know how but am thankful.

My point in this email is to please be aware of this.  Just because
they say it is safe does not mean it is.  (I know most of you Doves
know this but I had to state the obvious.)
