"Steve Berryman Ephraim and Manasseh"

Like many others here, I am enjoying what Steve has and is writing and look forward to the up coming articles.

I have this question though, I have always heard that Ehpraim is the British Commonwealth nations (Genesis 17: 4-6; Genesis 35: 11; Genesis 48:19 - 20; Ephesians 2:12) while Manasseh is the USA, one out of many, and while also representing the whole house of Jacob, chiefly USA is Manasseh. Ephraim, the younger son of Joseph was blessed above Manasseh, the firstborn because he was to become a multitude of nations, while Manasseh was to also become a great nation, (USA).

In Isaiah 41 and beyond, God speaks to His people Israel as dwelling in the "appointed place" in the Islands of the West etc. for the latter days. After an appointed period of punishment for sin which was to last 2520 years for each house beginning with their respective captivities, these people were to begin rediscovering who they are. This began to happen in the early 1800s as the two houses completed these years, ending the consequences of the captivity to Assyria and Babylon etc.

You seem to be suggesting that USA is Ephraim, is that right? Or are you being general and grouping them together, which works for me too...

Anyway, the Bible is alive and very much about our day and what an exciting time to be here, right at the climax of His-Story!

Looking forward to more from Steve! And LOOKING UP!
