"FW: Inspiring new movie your whole family should see"

Bizarre (or maybe not so bizarre) movie listings caught my attention.  I am planning to go to a movie with my fiancé’ tonight – Amazing Grace which releases tonight.  What caught my attention is that a movie called Astronaut Farmer releases tonight as well.

In fact, here are the first 6 movie listings for our local theatre, Oakview 24:

  1. Abandoned  2.  Amazing Grace  3.  Astronaut Farmer  4.  Because I said so  5.  Bridge to Terabethia

Also, the daily devotional I have emailed to me (I have no control and they have no idea what I’m thinking) yesterday was about “Panelled houses” in regards to the temple (see Wade Balzer’s postings in regard to Adar 3 temple completion) and also today’s started off with a prayer about Bond-Servants (I checked and no other prayer started this way – see my posts regarding Bond Servants) and the message was a man with God’s favor about Elijah and Elisha

Coincidence is not a Kosher word – YHWH’s Sovereignty, talking in personal ways is J

Blessings,

Tony

Subject: Inspiring new movie your whole family should see

Normally I wouldn't send you an e-mail about a new film, but I am excited about the opening of Amazing Grace today.

Very rarely does Hollywood give us a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of Christian history, yet Amazing Grace does just that. I had the privilege to see an advance screening of the movie starring Ioan Gruffudd, and I was inspired by the courage and perseverance of William Wilberforce.

This is a movie that every Christian ought to see. I want to challenge you to buy tickets for your whole family for opening weekend. Make it a family night, and use this time as a teaching opportunity for your children. Let's send a message to Hollywood that we want more movies like Amazing Grace.

Every home a godly home,
