I am a faithful reader of Fivedoves.com, reading it nearly every day.  I love my brothers and sisters in Christ, and am thankful to have found a place of like-minded Believers.

I was given recently a copy of Jack Van Impe's devotional guide, "The Daily Walk," copyright 1992, and which I am currently reading.  Imagine my wonderful surprise, after reading Gary's post today, upon reading today's devotional from Dr. Van Impe's book.  Here are just some excerpts:

"Next Sunday you are to talk about Heaven.  I am interested in that land, because I have held a clear title there...for over 55 years....For more than half a century I have been sending materials out of which the greatest architect AND BUILDER OF THE UNIVERSE (emphasis mine) has been building a home for me which will never need remodeled nor repaired because it will suit me perfectly, individually, and will never grow old."

"The One who formed the earth, the heavens and all that are in them in six days, has been preparing places for His bride for nearly two thousand years."

Your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a very experienced carpenter. For the past 2,000 years He has been building your mansion in Heaven, where you will live after the rapture for all of eternity.And with every swing of the hammer and cut of the saw, He's dreaming of the day when he carries you over the threshold
 
Being a master builder, Jesus is custom-designing your eternal mansion. Every room in your new home will reflect your personal tastes and interests
 
All Bible prophecy signs and current world events are all pointing to the very soon return of Jesus Christ. For the purpose of bringing to heaven all His saved believers and sending Tribulation Judgement to planet earth
 
Your eternal mansion is almost ready. Jesus the Master Carpenter is about to put the finishing touches to your heavenly home. And Jesus has already paid the down-payment on your eternal mansion. In fact - He has already covered the entire costs. Your eternal life in Heaven is  "paid in full"
 
All you have to do to claim the title deed to your mansion in Heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And very soon you will be hearing Jesus calling you and every other Christian believer heaven-bound !!!
 

This struck me like a ton of bricks!  This is not a coincidence but a "God-incident."

 I have a mansion, just over the hilltop, in that bright land, which will never grow old.  And someday yonder, I will never more wander, and walk the streets that are paved with gold!
