For about 8 years now, I have become an avid daily reader of Five Doves, Rapture Ready...and more recently Watch.org .    As I watch the world events and daily world news, I see the world stage lining up more and more with our view of the nearness of the end times, the Rapture, and all this entails.
 
Last year I was intrigued by many of the Five Doves comments, especially the 38.8 year analysis by Miriam Brown.  And, last year the letter from Iran to Bush which (I think) could be a parallel to Mohammad sending a letter to offer "conversion" to Islam before invading his enemies....PLUS all the other rhetoric coming out of Iran.
 
Add to that, that Bush has only 1 1/2 years before his term is effectively up;  the war with Iran rhetoric is building all across the US, Congress, over this nuclear issue.  (Does anybody remember that our FIRST deadline date for an answer with Iran over the nuclear issue was June 1, LAST YEAR??!!  Wow.... politics in action...how timely it is! )
 
Add to that the 40 years comparisons.....and now it is 40 years this June since the recapture of Jerusalem but NOT the Temple Mount.......and on and on.....
 
So, IF IT IS NOT THIS YEAR FOR THE RAPTURE............when is it??????
If it is not THIS year.....how really, really bad will the world have to get until it does happen.  That's what I'm wondering.  BEcuase, if it's not this year......I think things are really going to go down the drain.
 
For example......just a few thoughts.......  Israel gets in a more precarious situation with each passing year. Gaza is a zoo; The war with Lebanon was a mess....and is re-arming as we all know; (Even I am amazed at the disproportionate response by Israel to the events that started it all. )  Russia is looking more and more sinister and less of a friend to Bush.  (If he ever really was one.)  Iran WILL GO NUCLEAR....make no mistake about that.  So, Russia is holding up construction on some of Iran's nuclear needs......the press says it's due to late payment???..... but it just seems prudent for Russia so that in case of attack, less is destroyed.
 
What will be the UN's / United States' / Israel's response to this threat??  There are now 2 Aircraft Carrier groups in/headed to the Gulf.....
 
The nations of Islam see NOW as THEIR time to take over...they have waited for this for centuries, and they see us (their enemies) divided and unfocused.   They see this fight for what it is....and we cannot get a consensus from the west.....or even within our country.  And they are right....THIS IS their time......their last chance.
 
My point being, things are building more and more every day......every week...every month.    SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE.......
 
So, if not this year.......I do not look forward to the next 3, 5, 10 years.....so let us hope. I'm tired...I want to go HOME......I long for God's final prophecies to be made reality.....starting with the Rapture and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God........the comparison to the Jewish Wedding story that I love so very much.  I long for the whole world to see the mighty hand of OUR GOD move in such an incredible way (just as in Noah's day) that none can deny him any more.......
