Hi, precious brothers & sisters!!!HalleluYAH, Yahweh’s in control!!! He has been doing some SERIOUS prayer answering, and I want to publicly thank Him here for his answers!
First of all, I have been having everyone pray for healing of his bed sore that he developed from lying on his back in the hospital for 24 days! It had gotten extremely infected and was very painful! Richard had been trying to doctor it with prayer, alcohol (rubbing, not drinking <<grins>>), etc., and when he went to see our family doctor, Dr. D sent him immediately to a wound care specialist! They were extremely concerned when they viewed his sore for the first time a couple of weeks ago! They tried a week’s worth of quasi-painful dressing of the wound and changing of dressing each night by me; then last week, they tried using silver nitrate to dry it out. They said if it didn’t heal REAL quickly, they were going to have to vacuum it out, which is REAL painful! He went back this morning, and they are totally shocked at how fast it has healed!!! Richard & I are NOT shocked! We KNOW first-hand the care Father Yahweh provides for those who belong to Him, don’t we?
Secondly, his truck. We’ve had the truck for quite a few years, and it’s been paid off for years. It’s a 1-ton truck, with lousy gas mileage (usually 12 MPG, and a diesel engine!). A couple of weeks ago, it just stopped working… it wouldn’t even “turn over”!!! Richard started searching the Internet for inexpensive vehicles. I have to have the car for work, so whenever he’d have a doctor’s appointment, etc., he’d have to borrow my car. Which means he’d have to drop me off, go home, go to his appointment, go to the grocery store and pharmacy, go back home, then come pick me up and go back home with me. He would be in the car for 6-7 hours on those days, driving over 200 miles!!! Also keep in mind that for about the past 8 or 9 years, my income has been all the money coming into our household, due to Richard’s health problems. So we figured we could “afford” to charge no more than $1,500 at the MOST. But we figured that whatever the Lord decided, He would work out all the details. Richard had it narrowed down to four vehicles, located all over creation, and chose one morning and called. All FOUR had already been sold! Richard went to the Lord and asked Him to show him the right vehicle for him. Meanwhile, he called a local auto mechanic shop and asked them to have a tow truck pick it up and take it to the repair shop to be fixed. It would have cost us approximately $3,000+, but it HAD to be done! Richard went out to the truck to make sure all wires were tightened under the hood, etc., and saw a group of wires loose. He tightened them up and “vrooooooom”!!! It has been running like a top since then… better than it EVER has… and getting 16.5 MPG!!! How’s THAT for an answer to faith???
Anyway, precious ones, thanks SO much for always praying for us, and thank you precious Father for your lovingkindness to those who love You!!! I am His Forever!!!
