"Tuesday's FEATURE stories, and Tuesday's article ("1948: landmark year" by Jim Bramlett)..."

New items have been added to my Daily Update pages for Tuesday morning, located here:

http://www.his-forever.com/daily_update_02_27_07.htm

Due to TIGHT personal time constraints (3-hour drive per day to/from work, etc.), from now on, I will only be listing the FEATURE stories each day, though the actual daily news stories will ALL be on my Update page. Total listings were taking me WAY too long in the mornings!

RECIPE:  "BMC Turkey Burgers"

Here are today's FEATURE stories:

Surveillance Cameras Get Smarter - Researchers and security companies are developing cameras that not only watch the world but also interpret what they see. Soon, some cameras may be able to find unattended bags at airports, guess your height or analyze the way you walk to see if you are hiding something.

Resurrection of Yahshua [Jesus] - Due to the fact that Satan is launching an all-out campaign in these last days to disprove the resurrection of Yahshua (see Titanic' attack on Christ's Resurrection and Jesus' Burial Site Found), I thought this would be an appropriate time to share a few facts with you, as well as the Gospel accounts of His resurrection.

The Vatican turns away followers of the 'new Padre Pio' - With his face, hands and feet appearing covered in blood each Easter, he has earned celebrity status and his fans range from the country's poorest to World Cup-winning footballer Francesco Totti... Yesterday was supposed to be a chance for as many as 10,000 people, including visitors from Britain, to meet Brother Elia, 45, at the headquarters of the Jesuit movement in Naples. Now that Lent has begun, time is running out to see him before he takes to his bed over April to undergo his annual torment.

Quieting Ringing Ears - With work, kids, traffic, and countless other noises we're bombarded with every day, it seems unfair to have a medical condition that keeps some people from getting any peace and quiet at all. Tinnitus is something sufferers could do without.

Two Ears are Better Than One! - There was a time when being born deaf meant never being able to speak ... or hear. Cochlear implants have given people the gift of speech and sound, and now, deaf children are able to hear almost perfectly. That's because doctors are beginning to realize two implants are better than one.

Protecting Brains - That's why Dr. Wright jumped at the chance to study the natural hormone progesterone. The first human study with 100 patients looked at the safety of injecting the hormone right after an injury. He says there were surprising results. "There was a 50-percent reduction in mortality, which was the thing that stood out, obviously, the most."

Painless, 3-D Mammograms - Graham has created a new type of CT scanner that provides a 3-D image of the breast. Traditional mammograms provide only a 2-D image and can be painful -- compressing the breast and distorting the image.

Tornado shreds homes like 'high explosives'

Clashes erupt as Israeli troops raid Nablus

Tuesday's article, "1948: landmark year" by Jim Bramlett, will also be linked to the Daily Update page.

EXCERPT:

I was reminded that this same time period saw the most significant prophetic event in the past 2,000 years -- the reestablishment of the nation of Israel.  In 1947 the United Nations recognized the new nation and on May 14, 1948, she was born.  Arab guns immediately began blazing, and the end-time conflict between Isaac and Ishmael began.
