Hi, precious Doves!
 
Those of you who have been following my life in the past, know that I quit smoking on 6/2/06, after a 35-year smoking habit.  So I used Commit Lozenges to get off the cigarettes, and got HIGHLY hooked on the Commits!  Talk about withdrawals!!!  So I used the patches to get off the Commits, finally becoming nicotine-free!  Like the Ronco commercials say... "But wait, that's not all!"  <<grins>> Well, when Richard was in the hospital for that 24-day period (December 17, 2006 - January 11, 2007... his third open-heart surgery), I was staying with my best GF, who is a smoker, trying to quit with the use of nicotine gum.  In my convoluted logic, with the help of our Adversary, I convinced myself that it would be better if I chewed gum instead of smoking, and now I'm hooked on the doggoned NICOTINE gum!!!  I desperately need for you to go before the Throne on my behalf, asking Father Yahweh to totally remove my desire for ANY sort of nicotine! And pray for my weaknesses, that I take to heart the poem I wrote, "Through Him Who Strengthens Me"!  And please ask Him to forgive me for starting up again on the nicotine.  Please check back with me from time to time and encourage me... I need it a LOT!  Thanks so much for your prayers!
