Amen, brother Jim!

I have arguments all the time with family members and others who say that the “sign” gifts were “done away with” with the Canon… HOGWASH!!!  As I tell them, Yahweh NEVER changes, and if He chose to give His Gifts of the Spirit to men back then, do you think He’s going to withhold them from Christians AFTER that point???  Not to mention the point that I have felt the touch of the Almighty on so many occasions, I can’t count, and I KNOW His touch, for I belong to Him!  And my husband is a walking, talking miracle of the lovingkindness of God for His people!  At the time I was having most of my arguments about it, the Spirit led me to write this poem:
 

God in a Box

You cannot take Jehovah God
and put Him in a box,
and tell Him how to do His thing,
and how to lead His flocks!

You cannot take the Spirit of God
and proceed to tell Him to whom
He can give Jehovah’s gifts to;
how dare you so presume!

And how dare you tell the Son of God
that His blood no longer heals men!
And that His miracles were only for
the Christian apostles back then!

Yahweh, Yeshua, and the Spirit of God
The same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
They still do what They’ve always done;
that will NEVER change, don’t you know?
