Wow, thanks, Cherise!!!  Before Richard became a “walking in the Spirit” Christian, he thought of hawks as being messengers… sorta like my guardian angels have always been to me.  He is from Native American culture (Cherokee & Choctaw), and they always believe in spirit guides, like bears, eagles, wolves, hawks, etc… different for each person in the tribe.  Often, when I am upset, like the MANY occasions where Richard has been very ill and in the hospital, the Lord seems to send me a hawk to let me know everything is going to be OK… sort of like a visual way He calms me down.  In January 2006, when Richard was in the hospital awaiting open-heart surgery, I was riding to/from work with a sister in Yahshua, Judy.  Every morning on the way to work, in the same approximate location on our trip, I would see a hawk up on the telephone wire on the side of the road, looking down at her truck… REALLY strange!
