"RE. Michael - its Two - DIFFERENT - Events / Times !"

Jan,

You stated in you response:

but the escape events we have to work for, thats the risen why the word say, that we must pray and work for, to be found worthy to escape the tribulation.

And you said if I did not understand you to go to the Bible so I did and here is what it says in Luke 21:34-36 is.

34: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

 35: For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

 36: Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Not one word Jan about "working" for anything. There is not one thing anyone can "DO" to work their way into His presence. It says simply "watch" and "pray."

Perhaps a look at the original Greek would clear this up. The English translation saying "accounted worthy" is false.

The original Greek text states "denomai hina katischuo" which translates into English as follows:

"beseeching that may be prevailing"

The Greek "katischuo" (kat-is-khoo'-o) 2729; meaning:

  1. to be strong to another's detriment, to prevail against
This has nothing to do with being counted worthy. It is not a correct assessment in the KJV to place the word "kataxioo" (kat-ax-ee-o'-o) 2661, meaning "to make worthy" in this position.

The original Greek manuscript uses "katischuo" not "kataxioo" which has an entirely different meaning and falsely alters the intent of the original. It is a textual error that needs to be seriously considered when understanding the contextual message of this passage.

The only thing one can 'do' to obtain entrance into the Kingdom of God is to accept the free gift of salvation. Nothing else matters. From that point one is sealed and his/her reward is based on his/her works AFTER they some to salvation. Just as so clearly stated in 1 Corinthians 3:13-15;

 13: Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

 14: If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

 15: If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

What you are espousing is a works based faith and that is false Jan.

And the parable of the wedding seen in Matthew 22 is a simple picture of Israel being invited to the "wedding" of themselves to the new covenant of salvation through Jesus Christ. They were the "bidden to the wedding but would not come" (Mt.22:3 & 8) so the wedding invitation went out unto the rest of the world for any who would accept the invitation.

Israel was "invited" but would not come. The grafted in Gentiles, whom were a "people that as not a nation" (Rom. 10:19), were invited and came. They came to the invitation of salvation. Israle did not and they were found not worthy.

The "many" who are called are those we see in the new testament/covenant of Jesus blood spoken to in Matthew 26:28 and Mark 14:24;

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Many are called. The call to salvation was for many. Few come. The original invitation went out to Israel when Jesus came to them as the Messiah. They would not come to the invitaion so they were "broken off" and the Gentiles grafted in. Rom. 11:17-19.

Being found worthy is simply a matter of accepting the invitation Jan. That is all one need do, or can "DO", to enter in.

In Christ,

Michael
