Jan you stated the following:

 

I believe that it have to do with faith-engagement, - we are saved by faith,
Jesus have paid the price - no doubt ! - but this escape events we have to work for, thats the risen why the word say, that we must pray and work for, to be found worthy to escape the tribulation.

 

Perhaps the following from Ephesians 2: 8 & 9;

 

8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

 9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The only thing one can DO is accept the free gift.
