Hi Deborah,

One more point, our dear brother St. Paul went on at length in Romans chapters 9-12 regarding God's plan for the Jews.  God is not through with them!  They have been under punishment for the past 2000 years, but the time of their punishment is coming to an end.  Part of their punishment has been being "blinded" and unable to see the TRUTH of the Gospel message......but Paul warns us that this blindness, is to the benefit of the Gentiles, but more importantly Paul said this blindness WILL COME TO AN END!!!

Yes, yes, Deborah, I agree wholeheartedly with what you said here.

An ancient language, as DEAD as Latin, has been RESURRECTED:  Hebrew!

Yes, yes, I know this too, and bringing the language back to life started long before 14 May 1948.

This is part of the reason that I believe that God started working with the Jews in the Holy Land long before 14 May 1948, from when He started bringing them back to the Holy Land in the 1860s, in these 19th century days they started to bring fruitfulness back to the land, first buying land from the Arabs and the Turks, draining malarial swamps, importing eucalyptus trees and other plants from Australia (Australia has a similar climate). [By the way, eucalyptus trees are native ONLY to Australia, not California as some people think.  Californian eucalyptus trees came from Australia too.  Yes, I am Australian.]  This was done with the help of Baron de Rothschild from France.  Building settlements, vineyards, kibbutzes, villages, towns and eventually cities.  Under the Turks and then after WWI the English, they had their own government the Rothschild Administration.

In fact, today Israel has a bigger export market of Australian Native cut flowers than Australia!

At this time too, the 1860s, Southern German Christians came to the Holy Land because they wanted to be where Christianity started and because they thought that Jesus was coming soon and they wanted to be in the Holy Land when He came.  They worked together (the Jewish settlers and the German settlers) to make the land bloom again.  The former German settlement in Haifa is now a tourist place.

There’s lots more history.  So I’m a history freak, especially of Middle Eastern and Christian history.

I read the article that you sent, but I had difficulty with all the maths, which isn’t my strong point.  I’ll read it again and try to understand the maths.

As for Jews coming to Jesus, and Messianic congregations, yes I know about this, yes Praise God!.  I am a great supporter of Jews for Jesus who are very active here in especially Sydney, Australia and I regularly receive their newsletters.

Your sister in Christ,

Lydia
