July 2, 2007 will be the 231 birthday of the USA.
 
Ted came up with some information on this number I found interesting...thanks Ted.
 
I looked into this number a little bit more and found out it is connected with the Kabala and turns up on some Kabala sites as a "Wheels within Wheels" sort of thing....

In Hebrew, Israel is spelled YisraEl, which literally means, "there are 231." So, it's a bit mystical and esoteric also.  I know zilch about the Kabala by the way.

So,  is there enough on this number to say it belongs in the list of other important events converging in 2007?  I don't know.
