Several times I have spent days on Dan 9:26 and comparing it with the other prophets, convinced that the "he" is Jesus Christ.  I do just fine until I get to Daniel Chp 11:36 -12:4. Then, I pitch all my research.
 
I'd be interested in your comments about what appears to be a person in the role of the antichrist/beast
in Chp 11:36.
