"The Cross & The Nails"
The world's Savior was about to die on a wooden
cross on a desolate hill overlooking Jerusalem. Roman soldiers were holding
him down as they were about to nail his hands to the cross. Only the hand
squeezing the handle was not a Roman soldier's. The force behind the hammer
was not an angry Jewish mob. The verdict behind the death was not decided
by any man
Jesus himself chose the nails. So the hands of Jesus
opened up. Had the soldier hesitated, Jesus himself would have swung the
mallet. He knew how, he was no stranger to the driving of nails. As a carpenter
he knew what it took
And as a Savior, he knew what it meant. He knew that
the purpose of the nails was to place your sins where they could be hidden
by his sacrifice and covered by his blood. The Roman nails didn't hold
Jesus to the wooden cross. His love for you held him there. He wanted to
give up His life so you may have Eternal Life thru His sacrifice. The wooden
cross, the Roman nails and Jesus's shed blood provided the way for you
to spend Eternity with Him in Heaven
Will you say yes to The Savior's offer of Eternal Life
? Its His Gift, its your choice !!!
have a blessed day, Gary
