I once too asked: 'How long ...? Lord?'

And this was my answer, (the same as was given to Isiah many years
ago, and also to Daniel some years after that) :

" ... Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses
without man, and the land be utterly desolate, ..." Isiah 6:11

" ... when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy
people, all these things shall be finished."  (But see all of Daniel
12)

After reading/hearing some news today, it looks, to me, like it may
not be many years  ...
