Randy,I agree with you, that this coming 40th anniversary of the Six Day War is SIGNIFICANT. Whether the rapture occurs on or about this date, remains to be seen.......although we are all HOPEFUL!The curtain that covered the Holy of Holies inside the last Temple was rent by God the day that Christ was crucified. God also allowed the Temple to be destroyed these past 1,935 years, because Christ made the final sacrifice, once and for all. There is no need for Temple sacrifices. But the Jews who continue to reject the gospel message of Christ's, want to rebuild the Temple and make sacrifices again. It will be the antichrist who supports and encourages this rebuilding......then as you know the antichrist will step into the Holy place and demand to be worshipped as God.....thus causing the abomination mentioned by Christ in Matthew 24. This single event, will trigger the Great Tribulation, the Wrath of God, which will last 3 and 1/2 years, causing world-wide misery.Because of Matthew 24 and Rev 11, we know that the Jews will rebuild the Temple. Unfortunately, its just going to get them into trouble when they do. At the end of the 3 and 1/2 years of great tribulation, those who survive will see their Messiah, with pierced hands and they will weep and mourn over their errors. But finally their blindness will be removed and they will be "one" with Christians.Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.
v.1 The Antichrist will allow the Jews to rebuild their temple
v.2 The Jews will lose control of Jerusalem for 42 months
Mat 24:15 ¶ When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Maranatha!
