You Doves have come through in the past with help concerning origin of
quotations, now I request your help again. In one of my "hard disk drive crash-data lost" traumas, I lost the quote
I had saved and can't remember who wrote it, or the exact quote. I
recall it being either Aristotle, St. Augustine, or Thomas Aquinas. but
could have been someone else. I think it was one of the authors
featured in Great Books of the Western World. IT had to do with
describing traits of wicked men, and it goes something like this:"Above all, beware of the wicked who only see Evil in natural
calamities---floods, earthquakes, starvation...."It had to do with wicked people being unable to perceive or be concerned
about Evil in human behavior and unwilling to combat it, but getting
very exorcised about a given natural calamity.Very aprapro to our day.
Any help would be appreciated.
