"Michael McDonald's dream"
John, Michael's dream, on February 5th, had parallels
for me, when I was in
Jerusalem in February 2003. It is interesting that
I left for my trip to Israel
on February 5, 2003. I kept a journal, and in the
entry for February 16th, it
reads: "I left the building, and walked a short distance,
through the bullet-scarred
Zion Gate, and into the Old City. I walked on,
through the checkpoint to enter
the Western Wall Plaza. There were many, many Israeli
soldiers, both in the
plaza and throughout the Jewish Quarter. In addition
to the olive-clad soldiers,
I observed several groups of all male military, dressed
in black uniforms with
insignias. They were very impressive looking, with
an air of authority."
I still remember vividly the impact of those military
men dressed in black.
The dark alley Michael mentions, reminds me of some of
the narrow, dimly lit
passageways I walked through in Jerusalem, and I remember
in particular
one aged Jewish lady, begging in the Western Wall Plaza.
Her face was so
wrinkled........ The red headed man reminds
me of Barry Chamish, an author
who I met in Jerusalem. Barry is Jewish.
As I wrote in my journal: "there,
sitting in the lobby, was what appeared to be a stocky
Jewish leprechaun...."
Barry has written several books, including Who Murdered
Yitzhak Rabin,
Israel Betrayed, Save Israel, and The Last Days of Israel.
Barry is a real
fighter, and I can see him "armed to the teeth."
I had to respond to Michael's dream. Michael, you
said the dream was vivid,
very real, and definitely had some symbolism in it.
I felt the vividness as I
read it. God bless you.
