A Nation Divided!Voicefromzion.org
February 06, 2006 8:57 PM
The week of February 1st was one of the most horrendous in all of Israel's history. The government of Israel sent an overwhelming number of police to Amona to forcibly remove 9 families from their homes, just as in Gaza. However, this time the method was different as the police used overwhelming force, and for the first time we watched in horror as the Israeli government sent Jewish police mounted on horseback who mercilessly attacked unarmed Jewish settlers with clubs, shields, and batons.
The Lord said, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand." Matthew 12:25
Israel is a nation divided against itself. Why? Because like the people of Amona we believe in God's covenant promise to Israel, believe in His word, and we are not willing to bow our knees to a godless government who seeks to give away our inheritance, to divide our land, and to give it over to Hamas and to the god of Islam.
Because we stand on the word of God we are all now labeled extremists. We have become the enemy of the Israeli government who has decided we must be subjugated, silenced, and physically removed from our homes, businesses, schools, synagogues, and our way of life completely destroyed in order to give our God promised inheritance in the land of Israel to the god of Islam and his agent Hamas.

In 2001, the then prime minister, Ariel Sharon, criticized a resident of Amona, asking: "Why haven't you started building yet?"
During Ehud Barak's term of office as prime minister, Amona was defined as a vital outpost from the security aspect.
The Israeli government has invested enormous sums of money in order to prepare the plots for the construction of the homes that are now designated for destruction.
The lands on which the permanent homes are built were purchased, or are in the process of being purchased, from Arabs in whose name it is registered.
There was no Arab presence in Amona before the settlement was established. No Arab has made any claims to the land of Amona.
In the end it is still the word of God in which we must put our faith. This following link is to a song and slide show pointing to the "One New Man" in unity.
