Most of you may know that a large group of "Evangelical" pastors recently signed onto a "green" platform regarding the health of the earth.  Some of you may have noticed that the World Counsel of Churches (WCC) is meeting in Brazil.
 
It just struck me (by no coincidence I'm sure) that a "giant bronze statue of Prince Charles as a winged hero "saving the world" is to become the centrepiece of a remote (Brazilian) Amazonian town" on the edge of the rainforest. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/1857482.stm  Charles has been lauded by many for his "environmental policies."
 
I wonder if there is any connection and whether any special events or trips are planned to see the statue.
