Earth Hangs on Nothing # 313e

Here is another example of The Bible being far, far ahead of the knowledge of humans. Job 26:7 says God “hangeth the earth upon nothing” The NIV translation says “suspends” and the Amplified translation says “upon or over nothing.”

Keep in mind that Greeks thought a god like a huge, muscular person held up the earth on one hand. The Romans thought the earth was held up by one side of a balance scales. Most people groups (ethnos) around the earth had not even thought about the subject yet. Job, however, knew correctly and he knew about two thousand years before the time of Jesus.

God told Job. The Word of God (The Bible) does not say if it was an angel, Holy Spirit, or how, but Job knew. He stated it plainly and boldly so there would be no difficulty understanding him about it. We don’t know who wrote about Job, but the writing was done about 950 years before Jesus came.

Modern day scientists, college professors, and school teachers taught about “ether” in space until very recently. Ether is now recognized as a wrong hypothesis, but it was taught as fact. Gravity and the sun have been and are still taught as controlling the earth’s position, but no person knows what gravity is or why and how it exists. All we know is we see the effect of gravity.

When will scientists learn to use The Bible which is also the Word of God to help them learn quicker and easier?

BIBLE VERSE ABOUT THIS:
Isaiah 40:22 explains that the earth is round. Most English translations say “circle of the earth,” but the Hebrew word in the actual Bible is “khug” which means “roundness” which is more than a circle.
