"For Chuck Holler"

Chuck,

Forgive me in taking so long to answer but I wanted you to know that you are on our prayer list to continue to quit smoking. ( Congratulations so far ! )

And even if a setback should occur ( may it not) just keep on quitting, one day at a time.

And we are also praying that you have victory too in the eating department. That's tricky, because you can't stop eating ( cold turkey). You can only moderate, and who knows where the exact line is in moderation?

My wife has given up eating all sweets. She found that easier to do than "controlled-sweets". She tries not to  eat in between meals ( snacks) , and finds that harder to do. Carrots and celery make for good snacks when a snack-attack occurs. Her mainstay is salads.

May you have victory in not smoking for now and also in controlled-eating,  by the power of God.

The main thing is the willingness to try -- even if falling down -- each and every single day.
As Pastor Greg Laurie says: " If you do fall, fall forward ... into the arms of God and start over again".

Again , please forgive me in answering late.

In Him,
Jim Goodrick
