"Thanks to Tim McHyde; Question: Why 18 Days Short of Exactly 2520 Years?"

My sincere thanks to Mr. McHyde for addressing the issues I posed in my post re Daniel 9:27. I encourage all who are equally confused to check his blog for a very succinct and insightful reply.

The Additional Servitude of the Nation (per Leviticus 26) of Israel lengthened the punishment of Israel by 907,200 days, beginning on July 15, 537 BC (Gregorian) and ending on May 14,1948 AD -- the rebirth of the nation of Israel. Israel regained its sovereignty. The Additional Desolations of Jerusalem lengthened the punishment of Jerusalem by 907,200 days, beginning on July 21, 518 BC (Gregorian) and ending 18 days prior to the June 7, 1967 AD recapture of Jerusalem by modern Israel.

These are very astonishing fulfillments of Biblical prophecies. But I don't understand why the recapture of Jerusalem had to occur 18 after the significant time-marker of 907,200 days--the same span of time that marked the jaw-dropping fulfillment to the day of the ending of the Diasporia. Does anyone have any ideas as to why God would not keep to the same timeline He so dramatically demonstrated in allowing Israel to once again be united exactly 907,200 days subsequent to July 21, 518 BC? Thanks in advance to anyone who wants to weigh in on this.
