Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas warned Monday that the Palestinians were facing a serious financial crisis following Israel's decision to stop the flow of funds to the Palestinian Authority.
Several Arab nations sent their foreign ministers to Algiers on Sunday to discuss providing the Palestinian Authority with monthly payments of $50 million. The final decision on the payments is due to be made at the Arab summit in Sudan in March.
