More Illegal Outposts Are To Be Removed By March

Hours after the evacuation of the West Bank outpost of Amona ended with some 200 people wounded, security sources said on Wednesday night that despite the day's violence, one or two additional outposts are liable to be evacuated before the March 28 elections.

Several farms in the Nablus area that are slated for demolition are on the agenda.

Report: Olmert Plans to Remove Additional Outposts

(IsraelNN.com) Unnamed senior governmental officials have announced that additional unauthorized outposts, in the Shechem district, will be removed ahead of the 28 March 17th Knesset election, the daily Ha’aretz reports on Thursday.

According to the report, just hours after the violent confrontations in Amona on Wednesday that left some 200 injured, the government officials released statements that additional farms in the Shechem area will be removed before the election. Those statements indicate that the clashes between youths and security forces will not deter the Olmert administration from moving ahead as planned.
