The Reason the Day of the Lord Must Soon Begin
Some commentary suggests that we watch for nuclear war to begin in 2006,
and that, because of some Bible Code that was found.
Bible Codes are way to subjective for me to get involved with.
I am thoroughly convinced
from Scripture that 2006 will not see a nuclear war – nor will any
other year succumb to a nuclear holocaust.
WHY?
Because, the Day of
the Lord is about to begin.
Not the day of man.
THE DAY OF THE LORD!
Prophecy teachers espouse the error of prophecy teachers before them.
Moreover, this is what we have today. Modern day prophecy teachers have
taught us error, and unless we get in and dig through the Scripture like
good stewards of the Word - we will parrot those same errors. The teachers
sell their books (selling the gospel for gain) and most of us are too lazy
to check out God’s Word to see if what they propagate is true.
The seven-year tribulation is the beginning of the Day of the Lord wherein
He brings His judgment upon a profoundly immoral world. This is the time
when God will pour out His wrath upon the earth and the peoples of the earth.
The scene of the seven-year tribulation is focused primarily in the Middle East. The instruments of war are the primitive instruments
of swords and spears. Man’s technological weapons are not permitted during the Day of the Lord, and certainly
not nuclear ones.
One famous prophecy teacher tells his listeners that thermonuclear bombs
will remove the skin from man etc. and that it is only the thermonuclear
bomb that will cause this devastation.
How he limits the Lord in HIS DAY of
JUDGMENT...
Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the
LORD will smite all the people that have fought against
Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away
while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their
holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Does thermonuclear fallout cause this kind of devastation? The prophecy
teacher teaches that it does, and it may. Nevertheless, we just read that
the LORD will smite all the people.
How he limits the Lord in HIS DAY of
WRATH…
Ponder this:
The earth and its atmosphere are molecules, atoms, cells, i.e. interdependent
organisms and their environment dependent upon God to hold them together.
God, who is the very Creator, Order, and Control of the total sum of all
matter and energy, is holding it all together by His restraining Power,
Mercy, and Grace.
We know that the Day of the Lord is going to be a time of distress like
has never been upon the earth.
When the Restrainer removes His restraint over His ecosystem - those molecules,
atoms, cells, et al - will do more destruction than any nuclear bomb and
its fallout could possibly effect.
Unrest
Pestilence
Economic decline
Disease
Famine
Plants will emit poisons, disease will fill the waters and air, and viruses
will spread through animals and humans (bird flu), and so on.
We just witnessed flooding of property, knocking down of homes, diseased
water sitting on the earth, economic backlash from storms unleashed by God’s
hand; a warning to a froward world of judgment
to come.
Can you even begin to realize what it will be like when the Lord removes
His restraining power?
Tsunami deluge
Volcanic eruptions
Massive earth shifts
Catastrophic weather changes
Communications knocked out
Permanent black outs
Molecular breakdowns
Animals carrying disease
I could go on but I believe you are getting the picture.
The Lord will dictate the judgments
from His throne, and He does not need the inventions of man to carry out
His appointed judgments.
The Day of the Lord will commence the moment the bride of Christ is removed from this earth. Moreover, that DAY will
bring God’s wrath upon the earth through His means.

When I hear the world (and Christians too) talking about, and worried
about a nuclear holocaust I get extremely excited because I know that God
will intervene before man has a chance to annihilate themselves. I hope
that I have adequately shown you that the Lord will not be using the weapons
of man to bring judgment upon the world.
When God removes His restraint, whereby His ecosystem is altered even
a minute degree – humankind, those who are still living, will do one
of two things. They will humble themselves before a holy God or they will
run to the caves crying out for the rocks to fall upon them.
I don’t know how it will happen but I can’t help but wonder
if the Lord might open the earth to swallow up every human made instrument
of destruction in order that man will understand that the devastating wrath
that is upon the earth is exacted by the hand of God.
Revelation 5:
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book
written within and on the backside, sealed
with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice,
Who is worthy to open the book,
and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth,
was able to open the book,
neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open
and to read the book, neither
to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto
me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the
tribe of Juda, the Root of David,
hath prevailed to open the book, and to
loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns
and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits
of God sent forth into all
the earth.

tongue, and people, and nation;

shall reign on the earth.

and thousands of thousands;

and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Revelation 6:
1 And I saw when the Lamb
opened one of the seals,
and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying,
Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a
white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was
given unto him: and he went forth conquering,
and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened
the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another
horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon
to take peace from the earth, and that
they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened
the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black
horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say,
A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of
barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened
the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come
and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell
followed with him. And power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to
kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of
the earth.
9 And when he had opened
the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that
were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord,
holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell
on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it
was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until
their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed
as they were, should be fulfilled.
12 And I beheld when he had
opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,
and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven
fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth
her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed
as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were
moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich
men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and
every free man, hid themselves in the
dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains
and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great
day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
These are just the seal judgments – there is greater wrath to come.
Does this sound like a nuclear holocaust at the hand of man or does this
sound like the wrath of God at the hand of God?
Notice that the judgments are dispatched from the throne of God and they
are God’s sore judgments carried out by the seven Spirits of God sent
forth into all the earth.
The seven Spirits of God dear
friends - are dispatched into all the earth to
exact God’s wrath.
The seven spirits of God will administer the affect of the seven
seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls. These are the same Spirits
(eyes) of God that will remove the iniquity from the land in one day. These
are the same Spirits (eyes) of the LORD, which run to
and fro through the whole earth.
Zechariah 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:
behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith
the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the
iniquity of that land in one day.
Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand
of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through
the whole earth.
These seven Spirits of God will prosecute
the earth and mete out the equitable judgment of God’s wrath in the
seven-year tribulation.
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of
the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the
spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of
the LORD;

The Lord Jesus, Yeshua haMachiach embodies the seven
Spirits of God.
These seven Spirits of God rest upon our Savior.
Also note that God’s seven Spirits affect the earth with no peace,
economic decline, famine, disease, death by beheading, death by wild animals,
and earthquakes.
There is not one hint that God is going
to allow man to destroy humanity and the earth through a thermonuclear holocaust.
I agree that the Day of God’s wrath will begin this year but I do
not come to my conclusions through extra biblical sources.
I want us to be cautious. When folks are given words and they state that
God told me or God showed me that nuclear war was going to wipe out America
etc., of what spirit did they hear this from? Was the voice they heard,
the vision, the dream they had from their own vain imagination, or was it
from an unholy spirit? We must be discerning of what is shared among Christian
circles especially when what is proliferated is nowhere in Scripture.
Jeremiah 23:
25 "I have heard these prophets say, 'Listen to
the dream I had from God last night.' And then
they proceed to tell lies in my name.
26 How
long will this go on? If they are prophets, they are prophets of deceit,
inventing everything they say.
27 By
telling these false dreams, they are trying to get my people to forget me,
just as their ancestors did by worshiping the idols of Baal.
28 Let these false prophets tell their dreams, but
let my true messengers faithfully proclaim my every word. There is a difference
between chaff and wheat!
29 Does not my word burn like fire?" asks the
LORD. "Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes rock to pieces?
30 "Therefore," says the LORD, "I stand
against these prophets who get their messages from each other –
31 these smooth-tongued prophets who say, 'This prophecy is from
the LORD!'
32 Their
imaginary dreams are flagrant lies that lead my people into sin. I did not
send or appoint them, and they have no message at all for my people,"
says the LORD. (NLT)
If this year and this spring is not the time of our departure followed
by the Day of the Lord - our hearts will grow weary within us and everything
that we believe the Lord has shown us by His cycles, seasons, feasts, etc.
- will have to be discarded.
