Christians are EXACTLY who God and Jesus say we are and nothing less. This is a good description of the Believers of the New Testament. They changed their city, nation, and the known world by witnessing and the spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They were fearless changed people living and being all that Christ had made them to be doing the works of the Kingdom of God. They all were involved in the Kingdom of God doing the works of the kingdom. All were ministering and all had things in common. They were all ministers, priests, kings, saints, servants, and salt & light to the world.  They were all set free and at liberty to do the works of God equally for they were all equal. They were being encouraged and challenged by the disciples who were showing them who they really were and what to do.

Now dear Christian does this sound like you or have you been reduced to a pew sitting peon whose only job is to come to church and to sing and give money; and you really don’t have to sing. A large percent of the believers of any church are in this state. There they sit, year after year until they die off. These mighty saints of God full of God-given authority and potential and yet they have been reduced to a peon position. The blame can be shared by both leadership and church members. The Bible is very clear who we are and what we are to do. But in this 21st Century the church is functioning at about a 15% rate. The rest are at rest in the pew doing their thing; nothing.

The church will probably never change, but you can. Just 8 inches beyond the church wall is the entire world which is full of hurting, sick, and needy people who will go to hell unless someone tells them the good news of the gospel. You can be that person and minister to the world. Wherever you go and wherever you are is the right spot to minister. The harvest is over ripe and believe it or not, the harvest is not going to drive down the road and pull into the church parking area and then go into the church. If a farmer wants a harvest he must go out into the field where the harvest is and then do his harvesting. He does not wait in the barn for the harvest to come to him. He does not sit in his barn and have prayer meeting so that the harvest will come to his barn; he rises up and goes into the harvest fields. Dear churches, the harvest is outside your walls. What are you going to do? The harvest is a whole lot bigger than your barn is.

Dear believer, I call you forth in the name of Jesus, to do the works of the kingdom. Rise up and go and do. The harvest is over ripe and no one is out in the harvest fields doing the harvest. There is no competition at all; in fact you will be quite alone. The other believers are all waiting in the barn for the harvest to come to them. While they wait, you can go and do the works of the kingdom. You will be doing kingdom work and not your local church work; we work for the Kingdom of God not a particular church building.

There is no equipment needed, you are the equipment.

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

God in you is all that is needed. I know of a person who got saved one day and the next day lead 4 people into salvation and all he knew was John 3:16. You are all that God/Jesus says you are and nothing less. Go forth now!
