"PWhat are the chances the Messianic Era could begin in 2006"

What are the chances the Messianic Era could begin in 2006?

Some Bible believing Christians today believe Jesus will be returning to earth sometime within the next 28 years (before 2033) to literally set up his 1000 year Messianic kingdom on earth. If that line of thinking is correct, then there is about a 4% chance the process will begin this year. Tradition teaches His coming will be preceded by a 7-year period of chaos called the “tribulation period” (not found in the bible!) The fact is his coming will be preceded by a 3 ½ year time of “great tribulation” called “the Time of Jacob’s Trouble” not 7-years as traditionally taught. No where in the Bible does it state this time of trouble will be 7-years, ONLY 3 ½ years of 1260 days! (Read www.watchmantimes.com/modern.html for Biblical proof). Therefore, since Jesus will literally fulfill the three “fall” Jewish feasts in Leviticus 23 at his coming, the process must begin in the “spring time” 3 ½ years earlier.

According to J.R Church, founder of Prophecy in the News www.prophecyinthenews.com, the Psalms appear to be prophetic to the existence of the reborn Nation of Israel in the 20th Century. Since the book of Psalms is the “19th” book of the Bible, there seems to be a correlation between the re-birth of the nation of Israel in 1948, and Psalm 48 (please read it for yourself). If this is in fact true, could Psalm 106 literally be fulfilled in the year 2006?

Three days ago, on February 2nd, 2006, an Egyptian ship carrying over 1200 passengers sunk in the Red Sea killing around 1000 Egyptians. Could this event be a “time marker” of sorts verifying the legitimacy of this concept, since Egypt historically is considered the enemy of Israel? (Read Psalm 106:7-11,22). Then verse-24 says: Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word, possibly referring back to the Gaza disengagement that occurred last fall. After verse 24, it appears God is fed-up and very angry with the Jews for giving away their inheritance. His wrath is kindled against them (Read verses 106:26-43), until they cry out to him and repent in verses 47 and 48.

The 150 Psalms are arranged in five categories or books. The last category of Psalms is called the “Messianic Psalms”, and begins with Psalm 107 and ends with Psalm 150. If the Psalms are in fact prophetic to the existence of the reborn Nation of Israel in the 20th and 21st Centuries, could Psalm 107 (referring to the year 2007), in fact be signaling the commencement of the long awaited Messianic Era and return of Christ? The Jewish New Year always begins in the fall of the year preceding the calendar year, therefore Psalm 107 technically begins on September 22, 2006 and runs thru September 12, 2007.

There are 1260 days (3 ½ years) from April 17, 2006 (the middle of Passover) to the Day of Atonement on September 28, 2009. At some future Day of Atonement, Jesus will fulfill that fall feast when he physically descends from Heaven, and sets his feet upon the Mount of Olives. If Passover this spring 2006 is the commencement of the Messianic process, and the Psalms are in fact prophetic in nature; then it would seem the Psalms 107 thru 110 should reflect this. Psalm 110 technically begins September 19, 2009, 10 days before the Day of Atonement on September 28, 2009.

The 7 verses of Psalm 110 sure sounds like Jesus has physically returned to the earth at that point in time. Verse 2 …rule thou in the midst of thine enemies, Verse 6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies: he shall wound the heads over many countries Verse 7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

Psalm 109:6-7 sure reads like the beast (antichrist/man of sin) will be judged, and Psalm 108:9 says …Phlistia (Palestinians) will I triumph. A careful reading of Psalms 107-110 sure could be referring to the 3 ½ year time of Jacob’s trouble, which initiates the long awaited Messianic era. Soon we will know if it begins this year. With all that has happened in the last year or so concerning tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, fires, the current state of Israel, nuclear Iran ect. ect., it sure seems like the birth pangs have begun, and the messianic era could be eminent. If not this year then soon for sure.
