"WHERE DOES SIN GO?"
WHERE DOES
SIN GO?
After Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden it is amazing
to me what they went through in such a short period of time. I know
that as I look back on my life this is exactly what I went through and
still sometimes to this day endure. All we have to do is look at ourselves
to relate to what I am going to write on.
After Adam sinned both knew ( Adam and Eve) that they
were naked. So in this case their sin exposed them. They had to leave
the Garden. So could we say they became homeless? In this case their
sin took away what God originally gave them. They were filled with grief
so their joy was taken away from them and were overwhelmed with sorrow.
They became confused because they were no longer in their home so their
sobriety in their minds was also taken from them. They knew they could not
go back so they were almost immediately placed in a self preservation mode.Prior
to sin they were enjoying God and His creation. What happened was
sin actually stole their fellowship with God.Outside the Garden the land
was more than likely hot and I would assume empty and barren because of
the curse of sin.Now they are exposed to the elements of nature and become
tired and weary. Sin has a way of exposing us to things that are
foreign and uncomfortable. I absolutely know that there was regret, not
only for the short term but also in the long run.
Sin has a way of expanding itself because it is greedy
by nature. We believe Jesus Christ will judge the World very soon because
the sin level will reach a plateau of ignorance whereby God will have no
other recourse to do something about it because He is holy. Another example
on how sin expands upon itself is if a person dies in their sins there
is unfortunately an eternal Hell. That is a heavy price. I still
to this day do not know, nor may understand what God has saved me from.If
you were to take the greatest theologian in the World he or she would still
have a hard time comprehending everything that Jesus Christ went through
on the Cross. Salvation is a free gift through Jesus Christ by simply placing
your faith in Him as your personal Savior.
Satan shows us the product but never the price tag, but
make no mistake somebody must pay for sin. Someone has got to pay
the bill. Jesus Christ paid for our sins on the Cross approximately
2,000 years ago. When we accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts all
of our sins were forgiven.I can't even fathom that. There is
therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...( Romans
8:1) I am getting excited as I think about this.If one chooses not
to do this they will have to carry a very heavy load-their very own sins.
With God's judgment coming upon the World and the soon coming Rapture of
the Church you most certainly want to make this all important eternal decision
through Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. I suppose one
could choose to carry their own sins for all eternity but with a loving
Savior on the horizon-why?
