"Millennial thoughts expressed from a 52 yr old saint"

Doves,

Please post if you wish...as this is having to do with the post regarding the millennium and how we individually envision it.  Here is my view.

I truly believe we will have a conglomeration of all the ages of man on the earth, yet there will also be separation thus avoiding confusion.  Technology will continue and also increase as never before under our LORD's rule but of course in complete perfection.

I tend to think that our NEW JERUSALEM for the BRIDE will be divided into historical classifications.  After all it would make sense to me for someone in the Victorian era not to understand the technology of our era in 2005.  And what about the dark ages?  But we and they would be free to "explore" all of earth;s historical ages past (or future depending where you were on the timeline) and how those people lived as we will probably live in our class area, but will also be allowed to live elsewhere with or without technology if we wish.  Plus GOD might remodel our house (mansion) as we live in eternity if we wish a change or it will just be rebuilt again to our new standard of what we want at that point.

I tend to also think that the heavenly city will have twelve jeweled foundations - those foundations actually being floors.  Each floor a different foundation for different ages in the worlds history.   After all you are talking about a city almost 1200 miles HIGH, WIDE AND LONG.  It would make sense to use it volume wise not just on the flat surface.  To much room for birds!!  HEH.

I think also we will know as we are known.  By that I mean when I "see" my grandfather I will see him as an older person as I remember him but he will see his father as he remembered him but others will see them as they remembered them.  Perfect but older, or younger depending on when they departed this life.  A  young friend of my granddads who died when he was 13 would see granddad as the teenager he knew.  Again just conjecture.  The possibilities are truly endless.

We also will have what I like to call spiritual lobotomies in the sense of not having any memories of those unsaved.  It would cause grief remembering and yet not seeing loved ones who are not with us.  Once the BEMA judgment is over there will be no more sorrows, tears or death.  All things will indeed become new.

I believe we will also LEARN from the point we had not learned on earth the things of the LORD or wished to understand.  We will be in school so to speak.  Some starting at college level others at kindergarten!  But we will learn throughout all eternity never understanding completely the vastness of our LORD.  And we will also have jobs - always busy yet never so busy as not to praise and worship at the throne if we desire.

Weather:  I believe we are all different and therefore weather or environment could be different.  One person may be feeling cool while another feels the heat they like.  God will give us each the desires of our heart.  He knows what we really like.  Then again we may feel nothing at all in our resurrection body come to think of it.

I believe we will be able to play and have fun but without any personal injury in any game but with true competition still being available.

Animals will be like humans.  They will glorify the LORD in all they do.  There will be no waste, feces, etc.  They will praise they will worship as will flowers grass, etc.  Everything will be alive as never before declaring GOD's inifinite glory.  And you will walk on grass and not hurt it nor break off flowers - just walk straight through them as they wave in the breeze or if you break it to give to someone it will not die it will flourish in praise to GOD as a gift given in love to another.

I could go on and on but I imagine someone else wants to write and also be heard and I wish to see what they think also...

LOOKING FOR THAT GREAT AND GRAND AND GLORIOUS DAY OF HIS SOON RETURN...
