Syria participates at Mediterranean Meeting for Investment and Development

Athens, Feb. 5 (SANA)

Chairman of the State Planning Commission Dr. Abdullah al-Dardari underlined the importance of financial, economic and technological cooperation between Syria and Greece and between Syria and the EU through this stage of reform and development in Syria.

In a statement yesterday evening to SANA correspondent in Athens following participation at the Ministerial Meeting for Development and Growth in the Mediterranean Basin States on Friday, Dardari pointed out that the meeting dealt with investment climate and the available fields of foreign investment in Syria.

He also noted that the Syrian delegation and the Greek officials discussed cooperation between Syria and Greek in particular, and Syria and the EU in general, in the fields of administration, technology and investment.
