"Important Prayer Request"

There is a real stirring in the heavenlies over the abortion issue.  Be sure that you remain focused in prayer so that Heaven’s court is seated to release wisdom over the courts of this land.

Blessings,

OPERATION OUTCRY UPDATE:

SILENT NO MORE PRAISE REPORT & CALL FOR MORE PRAYER TO REVERSE ROE V. WADE

February 18th – Critical date

On February 18th, 2005, the Supreme Court is currently docketed to have an internal, private discussion conference on how to handle the petition to reverse Roe v. Wade.  We ask you to cry out for the covenant with death to be annulled.

Many of you have previously joined with us (Norma McCorvey, the former Roe of Roe v. Wade and Sandra Cano, the former Doe of Doe v. Bolton, and the staff of The Justice Foundation, the attorneys representing both of them and the post-abortive witnesses of Operation Outcry: Silent No More - www.operationoutcry.org) in praying to reverse Roe v. Wade.  On January 14th, the petition to reverse Roe v. Wade was filed with the United States Supreme Court.  It was received by the United States Supreme Court on January 19th.  On January 17th, Martin Luther King’s birthday, Norma McCorvey and Allan Parker appeared on Hannity & Colmes to announce the filing.  On January 18th, a press conference with Norma, Sandra, and the ladies of Operation Outcry: Silent No More, and the lawyers, was held on the steps of the United States Supreme Court.  Your prayers are deeply appreciated, they are working, and we need more continual and fervent effectual prayer.  The petition to reverse Roe has been set for a Supreme Court discussion conference on February 18th with results to be public on February 22.  For a copy of
the petition please go to www.operationoutcry.org.

PRAISE REPORTS:

Here are a few things that have been accomplished as a result of your prayers.

1.      For the first time in United States history, two women (Norma McCorvey, the former Roe of Roe v. Wade and Sandra Cano, the former Doe of Doe v. Bolton) have joined together to ask the Court to reverse their own landmark decisions.

2.      The cost of printing the petition was over $13,000.00 and required tens of thousands of dollars of attorneys’ fees and traveling expenses.  The Lord has provided the resources needed and there is even a small reserve fund for the future. (For the short term.)  God provides, but continue to pray for abundant finances.

3.      The excerpts from one hundred affidavits of post-abortive women were included in the petition itself.  The Lord has told us that “the waters will overflow the secret place and the covenant with death will be annulled” in this case or Doe or both.  Isaiah 28:14-22.  The waters are the tears of women.  The ladies are the witnesses that can convince the Court that what they are doing is wrong.  We overcome Satan by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.  Rev. 12:11.  To participate see www.operationoutcry.org.

4.      Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was quoted on the front page of the New York Times on January 25th as saying “[A]bortion is a sad, even tragic decision for many, many women.”  Only the Lord could arrange for her to make this damaging admission, no matter what her motive was, in the most prominent liberal media at the very time that this is the major argument we are making to the Supreme Court.  There is no doubt that this will be a major boost to our case.  In addition, On January 23rd, The Washington Post reported on a story in which the Catholic Church was burying cremated human remains from an abortion clinic.  The abortion clinic was upset that the Church was interfering with “women’s most intimate sorrow.”  Calling abortion a woman’s most intimate sorrow also confirms the heart of our argument to the Supreme Court.  It will be difficult for the Court to dismiss our argument when abortionists and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton agree with us.  Only the Lord, the Master of Breakthroughs can get these statements printed in the national media at the same time our case is there.  Pray that such comments and other things which influence the thinking of the judges will continue.

5.      Over one thousand affidavits from post-abortive women telling the truth about what abortion does to women and the child are now filed with the Court.  Please pray that the Court will read the ones that will convince them that abortion is murder, that it is destroying women, and Roe should be overturned.

6.      There is a tremendous amount of concerted, effectual fervent prayer from intercessors across all the denominations of Christendom going up on this case.  For example, an ecumenical prayer summit was conducted by Prayer Summit ministry for the three days prior to our filing of the petition in Washington, D.C.  The Cause, with Lou Engle and numerous related ministries such as Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets and many strategic prayer networks met in Washington, D.C. from the 17th through the 19th to pray for an end to abortion, and many young people are continuing to live in the District of Columbia and praying for this case continually until the walls come down.  Many young people from across America have moved to Washington, D.C. to live there until they see victory.  The Cause and Youth With a Mission, and many other national groups are calling for a forty day fast to last until March 1, 2005.  The Catholic group OREMUS which is Latin for “Let us pray” sent out 250,000 e-mails to Catholic intercessors around the world requesting prayer for this case.  Dr  D. James Kennedy sent out 600,000 e-mails around the world asking for people to pray for this case.  You are part of a worldwide move of God.

PRAYER NEEDS:

1.      People ask, “When will the case be decided?”  The answer is that the case is being decided RIGHT NOW.  The Court will meet privately on February 18th to discuss what to do.  The members of the Court are considering the case every day until the decision is released in public and writing, which is scheduled now for February 22.  The Court can delay a decision if it needs more time.  Each member of the Court and their staff has received a copy of the petition.  See www.operationoutcry.org to pray over the petition.  They are reading it; they are discussing it among themselves.  They are free to discuss it with other members of the Court.  They are writing memorandums.  It is permissible for a justice to attempt to influence the other justices.  This is supposed to be a group decision.  An individual judge may decide one way one day and then change his mind if someone persuades him/her otherwise, or if they see something in the media, or perhaps a dream that changes their minds.  Thus, constant daily prayer is needed until the walls are broken through and shattered to the ground as in the battle of Jericho.  Seek the Lord, the Master of Breakthroughs, to continue to work on the heart of the judges daily in prayer.  We also encourage you to fast as much as the Holy Spirit leads especially February 16, 17th and 18th.

2.      We are urging and calling on men who will join us in praying for those in authority, I Tim. 1:1-8, to pray for the Supreme Court until this decision is announced publicly.  Join us between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in each time zone by calling 1-641-497-7302, Access Code 399430#.  (The call will cost you regular long distance charges so either use free cell phone night minutes, or an unlimited long distance plan.)

3.      Please pray that the God of Justice and Judgment rise up and scatter His enemies at this time and help the afflicted.  Please pray especially Psalms 9 and 35, and Isaiah 28:14-22 (which is the promise that was given to us that the covenant with death will be annulled.)  The second stone in our bag is the Doe v. Bolton case which is still at the trial court, but we are praying that the first stone kills Goliath.  The cases could both be overturned in this case because they are linked.
